Step 3: Register

Registering for a UNL Independent Study course is easy. Just pick the method that’s most convenient for you! Plus, when you register, you’re buying your class materials at the same time . . . Step 4 tells you how to get your materials.

1. Register online and pay with VISA, Mastercard, or American Express. Please select your course(s) and proceed to the online registration page by following the links.

2. Call us at (402) 472-2175. We’re available between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. CST, Monday through Friday.

3. Fax your completed enrollment form to (402) 472-1901. Be sure to include your credit card information or authorized billing account number. For course ordering information required on the enrollment form, simply visit the courses page and find your course(s).

4. Mail your completed enrollment form to us at Customer Service, 900 North 22nd Street, Room 102, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Lincoln, NE 68588-8101. Don’t forget to include a check, money order, credit card information or authorized billing account number. For course ordering information required on the enrollment form, simply visit the course search page and find your course(s).

5.Stop by our office at 900 North 22nd Street, Room 102 with your completed enrollment form. We’re here on weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. For course ordering information required on the enrollment form, simply visit the courses page and find your course(s).

6. E-mail us at extservice@unl.edu to request a text-based Enrollment Form. We’ll e-mail you the form, then you simply fill it out and e-mail it back, along with your phone number so we can call for your credit card or purchase order information.
