UNL Independent Study

Your distance college classes are all here.

Summer Independent Study Courses

Summer Independent Study is a way for you to do what you need to do during the summer and still earn college credit. Courses are offered in a variety of subjects at both undergrad and a few courses at graduate level. You meet with the instructor in the spring, obtain the syllabus and buy your books, spend your summer studying, meeting with the class one time in the fall. Summer Independent Study allows you to travel, work, intern, whatever or wherever your summer takes you while still making progress on your degree.

Advertising to Women’s Studies and lots of classes in between, there’s something offered in SIS that you need. All this, conveniently available to you without setting foot on campus over the summer.
