Which Course Format is right for your student?

Semester-based Courses
A great option for students with demanding co-curricular activities or scheduling conflicts, these classes are available online and run on the same semester schedule as on-campus UNL classes. Students register for semester-based courses using eNroll. These courses count toward full-time enrollment for financial aid and insurance purposes. View current semester-based courses.

Open Enrollment Courses

Students can start an open enrollment course any time they want. They can finish some courses in as little as five weeks, or take a full calendar year. This is the PERFECT option for students who need a last minute graduation requirement, working students who need more flexibility with their time, or students studying abroad.. Summer Independent Study

These courses are specifically for students who want to spend their summer away from the UNL campus. Whether they’re at home, on internship, traveling or working, they can do it all, and still have time to take self-paced online courses. Find out more!
